2025: A Defining Year for Orbital Knives
If 2024 was about laying the groundwork, 2025 was the year Orbital Knives truly stepped into its own.
This past year marked a series of milestones that reshaped not just what we do, but how the knife community sees us.
The Release of the Fornax
In 2025, we proudly released the Fornax. A knife that represents our continued commitment to refined design, practical performance, and intentional details. The response from the community reinforced what we believe at our core: thoughtful design paired with quality execution always resonates.

Our First Blade Show as Exhibitors
One of the most meaningful moments of the year was exhibiting at Blade Show for the first time. Standing on the show floor as exhibitors, not just attendees, was a defining step forward for our brand.
Meeting customers face to face, hearing real feedback, and connecting with fellow makers and industry veterans gave us something invaluable: perspective. It validated our direction and energized our vision for what Orbital Knives can become.
Growing Our Dealer Network
2025 also marked the beginning of meaningful retail partnerships. We officially brought on dealers who believe in our designs and our long term vision, allowing Orbital Knives to reach more hands, more pockets, and more everyday carries than ever before.
That means a lot to us... it is good to see dealers of all sizes getting on board, and it makes things even more exciting.
The Dako: A Personal Milestone
Beyond Orbital Knives, 2025 held a personal achievement worth celebrating. I had the opportunity to release the Dako as a designer in collaboration with Kansept Knives.
Designing alongside an established manufacturer was both humbling and affirming. It pushed my skills forward and reinforced the design philosophies that continue to influence every Orbital project.
2026: Even Bigger, Even Better
As strong as 2025 was, 2026 is shaping up to be our most exciting year yet.
The Large Callisto
Due to overwhelming demand, the Large Callisto is officially on the way. This release stays true to the original Callisto’s identity, while offering a larger, more commanding presence for those who asked for it.
Introducing the Apophis
We’re also preparing to unveil an entirely new design: the Apophis. This knife represents the next evolution of Orbital Knives, bolder lines, refined ergonomics, and a clear step forward in our design journey.
So What's Next?
Well... there are a lot of things happening, but I can't mention everything. All I will say is, be excited! We have some beautiful things coming :) Happy New Year.
