Same price point, different personalities
We see the Fornax and the Titanium Large Callisto as two very different knives at the same price point. The Fornax offers a sleek, refined design with a dressier feel, while the Large Callisto is more of a rugged workhorse, built for demanding everyday use. Performance in mind
The beginning
Everything starts with an idea...
I was already designing for Kansept, working towards my first collaboration release, the Dako.
When I licensed my design to them, part of me knew I had also "sold" a bit of control over what happens to my design over time.
From there, the idea of "Orbital Knives" was born.
First launch
The Callisto Release
We officially registered the business and got to work bringing our first designs to life. Turning an idea into a finished knife takes time, with countless decisions, adjustments, and refinements along the way.
After a little over a year of development, we proudly released the original Callisto in November 2024, a sub $100 folding knife with a few premium aspects, marking the beginning of Orbital Knives.
Early growth
A few firsts...
In 2025, we released the Fornax in collaboration with Munko Knives, followed a few months later by the Dako, which had been in development for two years with Kansept Knives.
We also received our first mention in Knife Magazine, thanks to our friend Clay Aalders. In October 2025, we exhibited at our first knife show, Blade Show West.
Responding to the Community
Release of the Large Callisto and Apophis
As the original Callisto flew off the shelves, people kept making the same request: "Make it bigger!" One thing about being a small company is that you cannot ignore your community, so we listened and released the Large Callisto, not only bigger, but also upgraded in terms of materials and construction.
We also released our first fixed blade, the Apophis, with a big "oops" that, in a way, makes it unique. You can read about there here.

We will get your order shipped the next business day, and we will send you an email with all your shipping details, including your tracking number.
Do you ship overseas?
Not at the moment. We are working hard to get the right dealers in place to be able to provide our knives internationally.
Do you work with content creators?
We receive a lot of collaboration requests from content creators, and while we would love to work with many of them, as a small brand, we simply can't afford to. We work with a very small group of creators to keep things manageable and within our budget.
