At Orbital Knives, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Every knife is designed to perform, and we want you to have confidence in the knife you carry.
Warranty Coverage
Orbital Knives offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship under normal, intended use.
If your knife experiences a manufacturing defect during its functional lifetime, we will evaluate the issue and, at our discretion, repair or replace the knife at no charge.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, fading, finish wear, and blade dulling.
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, neglect, or improper maintenance.
- Rust, corrosion, or damage caused by improper storage or exposure to harsh conditions.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, disassembly, modifications, or customizations.
- Loss, theft, or cosmetic imperfections resulting from regular use.
Disassembly and Customization: Orbital Knives does not authorize customers to disassemble or modify their knives. Unauthorized disassembly, alterations, or customizations may void warranty coverage, particularly when they cause or contribute to the reported defect.
Understanding a Knife's Lifetime
A lifetime warranty does not mean a knife will last forever. Like any mechanical tool, every knife has a finite functional lifespan. Components wear, materials age, and performance can naturally decline with extended use.
Our Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to manufacturing defects throughout the knife's reasonable functional lifetime, not to the natural deterioration or eventual end of its service life.
Warranty Claims
If you believe your knife has a manufacturing defect, please contact Orbital Knives with a description of the issue, photographs, and proof of purchase if available.
We will review your claim and determine the appropriate resolution. Replacement products may vary depending on availability, and discontinued models may be replaced with a comparable product.
Customers are responsible for shipping their knives to Orbital Knives unless otherwise arranged.
Limitations
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Coverage is limited to qualifying manufacturing defects and does not guarantee indefinite repair, replacement, or restoration of a knife beyond its reasonable functional lifespan.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights depending on your state of residence.
