Moving the Orbital Forum to Reddit

I will keep this short and sweet.

When we launched the Orbital Knives forum, the goal was simple: create a space where people could talk about knives, design, steels, and everyday carry gear. A place for real conversations with others who share the same interest.

Unfortunately, that space didn’t turn out the way we hoped. Even though many of your joined and were active on it, we started seeing a large amount of spam, hundreds of posts and comments filled with links to sites we wouldn’t even trust clicking on. It quickly became clear that maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment there wasn’t realistic.

Because of that, we’ve decided to move our community over to Reddit.

We’ve created the Orbital Knives subreddit as a new place for all of us to connect. It keeps the same goal as our original forum, but on a platform that’s much better equipped to handle moderation and spam control.

To everyone who created an account, posted, and contributed to the forum, thank you so much. We truly appreciate the time you put into it, and we’re sorry for the shift. This decision wasn’t made lightly, but it allows us to protect both the brand and the community moving forward.

We’ve also opened up comments on all of our articles, so you can still share your thoughts directly on our site as we continue publishing content.
