Blade Show - The World's Largest Knife Show
Share
There’s something electric about Blade Show. It’s not just the tables packed with steel, or the endless line of grail worthy customs and fresh designs... it’s the people. The collectors, the makers, the curious first timers, and the hardcore users. It’s one of the few times a year where the knife community, scattered across the internet and the world, converges in one place. And for us at Orbital Knives, it’s a reminder of why we started this brand in the first place.
This year, I attended Blade Show not as an exhibitor, but as a participant. Walking the floor, meeting friends, shaking hands with customers, and getting inspired. Even without a booth, it was an incredible experience. We got to talk shop with people who have followed our journey online, answer questions face to face, and just soak in the energy that makes this show so unique.
We also want to give a huge thank you to Munko Knives, who generously had our Fornax models at their table. That kind of support from fellow creators isn’t just appreciated, it’s what keeps small brands like ours moving forward. When you’re still finding your place in the industry, those little boosts of visibility mean everything.
A personal highlight? Meeting another Chilean knife designer. For me, that was wild. I never expected to cross paths with someone from my own country, in the middle of a massive knife convention in the U.S. It was a reminder of how global this passion really is, and how small the world can feel when you’re doing something you love.
The truth is, Orbital Knives is still young. We don’t have a massive budget. We don’t have a massive team. But we do have a relentless drive to build something meaningful in this space. From day one, we’ve focused on designing knives that blend aesthetics with functional performance, working with some of the best manufacturing partners in the industry to bring our ideas to life. And that’s not changing. What is changing is our presence. We are ready to start showing up more.
Starting now, we are committing to being present at more knife shows. Not just as attendees, but as exhibitors. That means our own table or booth. Our own lineup on display. Our own chance to meet you, face to face, and share what we’ve been working on directly. It’s a big step, but it’s one we are ready for.
So if you didn’t catch us this time, stay tuned. We’re lining up future events and doing what we can to secure our spot at the next Blade Show and other shows to come. We’ll keep you updated on where we’ll be, and we hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and check out what’s new.
Thanks to everyone who has supported us this far, and we will see you soon :)
